In celebration of DANO, the annual summer festival in Korea, Trafalgar Square hosts a variety of Korean food stalls, craft workshops and live music performances. One of the biggest Korean rockbands, YB (Yoon-Do Hyun Band), are just one of the bands providing the live music while street performance group Noridan get involved by making musical instruments out of recycled rubbish. It's a Korean tradition to celebrate DANO by giving specially decorated fans called DANOSUN to friends and family. The whole family can learn weaving and paper folding techniques to make their own fan at workshops taking place from 2pm to 6pm. Pick up some traditional food including Kimchi (a fermented vegetable dish), Bibimbap (rice, veg and beef) or Bulgogi (thin slices of marinated beef) and enjoy the photography exhibition showing pictures of Korea taken by Magnum Photographers.
