Dali/DuchampDal/Duchamp at the Royal Academy of Arts explores the friendship and links between conceptual artist Marcel Duchamp and surrealist Salvador Dal. The first exhibition to look at the surprising relationship between the two artistic giants, it will explore the influence their relationship had on their works through a display of 60 works. Presented as a conversation taking place through art, it will include Dal's most inspired and technically accomplished paintings and sculptures, and Duchamp's groundbreaking assemblages and readymades. Additionally, it will display the less familiar: photographs by Dal, paintings by Duchamp, correspondence and collaborations between the two artists.
