Renowned crime writer David Hewson will be at Borders in Fulham Broadway to talk about and sign copies of his new book 'The Garden of Evil'. After training as a journalist and writing for 'The Times' and 'The Independent' when it started in 1986, his first book, 'Semana Santa', set in Spain during Holy Week, was made into a movie starring Mira Sorvino. 'The Garden of Evil' is the sixth in the Nic Costa series, following the adventures the young detective gets involved in, all of which are set in Rome. This is a ticketed event but the cost of the ticket can be redeemed against the purchase of the book. Call 020 7386 5451 to book tickets.
David will also be at Forest Hill Library, Dartmouth Road, London SE23 3HZ, at 6pm on 14th January, giving a slide show detailing some of the research and locations in the book, and then taking questions as well as signing books. |
