Every two months the Design Museum stays open until 10pm (last admission 9.15pm) to host a lively mix of workshops, activities and debates. On Friday 4th December there's a special Christmas Sparkle the Dark Up event at the museum where you can make your own handmade Christmas cards and get involved with some glittering present wrapping. There willl also be animation screenings with animator and director Ranko Andjelic giving talks and workshops where you can try your hand at creating your own cartoon. Admission includes access to all current Design Museum exhibitions which include designs by British architect David Chipperfield - Form Matters and a display of pieces by Dieter Rams, head of design at Braun electronics.About Design Museum
Located on the banks of the Thames, the Design Museum has two floors and showcases contemporary design in all forms, including fashion, graphic and architectural. There are two main galleries, and the collections trace the history of design developments, from the origins of mass production to contemporary works. More about Design Museum
