Stuff Valentine's this year and head to the O2 Academy Islington to take part in the ultimate anti-romance night. Down With Dating precedes Feeling Gloomy's Tainted Love club night and is the ideal fix for all those heartsick souls fed up with dating events reducing them to pint glasses of chopped liver. The alternative night's entertainment includes the world famous Speed Hating, where it is encouraged to discuss your pet peeves, followed by a spot of Blind Hate. Down With Dating's part of the show runs from 7.30pm-10pm and includes free entry to the Feeling Gloomy after party where, who knows, you may even actually meet the melancholic guy/girl of your dreams. However, if the thought of dancing to a compilation of heartbreakers and ballbreakers turns your stomach, attend on the 13th February instead, when the Down With Dating will take place as a singleton (much like the attendees).
