Now in its tenth year, the Dulwich Festival Fair returns to Goose Green bringing together a selection of local craftspeople, designers, independent shops, family fun, bars and cafes from East Dulwich. The event is a fun, non-profit making day for all the community with lots of activities from bouncy castles and free face painting for children to a beer tent (provided by East Dulwich Tavern), live music and delicious food stalls to tempt everyone. Part of the Dulwich Festival, the fair includes many other craft and gift stalls and even offers good old fashioned donkey rides.

About Goose Green

Goose Green, the triangle of grass at the northern end of Lordship Lane which links St John's Church to the East Dulwich high street, was once common land, available for the use of the whole community. In the late 19th century William Bowyer-Smith, the Lord of the Manor at that time, started giving building leases on other common land at Peckham Rye to developers. More about Goose Green
