| This famous Duxford heritage site, once airfield in World War One, hosts four air shows each year. The Duxford September Air Show, is the third outing for some of the resident aircraft. There are over 140 aircraft on permanent display in the hangers here and military exhibits include tanks, vehicles and guns. For this special weekend, fast jets and vintage classics, from the Spitfire to the B-17 Flying Fortress, perform fly-bys and impressive skyward displays. Take a picnic and enjoy some high flying family entertainment. |
