Easter fun at the Museum in Docklands extends well beyond the Easter weekend, running from 5th to 17th April, and includes a whole basketful of activities for the kids to do from chocolate tasting (of course) to a series of Easter Egg Creatures Workshops. There are three free half-hour workshop sessions on Bank Holiday Monday aimed at the under 5s, encouraging them to make their own chocolate treats. Other Easter events include storytelling - where you can also hear about children working in Victorian London - a chance to dress up and have your picture taken, and learning about the legend of Elizabeth Montagu, champion of the chimney sweeps.

About Museum of London Docklands

In keeping with its waterside location, the Museum of London Docklands focuses on the history of the East End with particular emphasis on the River Thames and the lives that have ebbed and flowed with it. The building in which the museum is housed is pertinent, too. More about Museum of London Docklands
