It's the Year of the Bus at the London Transport Museum and there's a programme of special families focused events this Easter celebrating one of London's favourite modes of transport. The Easter Family Fun events run at London Transport Museum in Covent Garden throughout the school holidays, from Saturday 12th April until Monday 21st April, giving children a chance to enjoy interactive storytelling and creative workshops where kids can transform a cardboard box into a bus and take it on a journey around the museum. Head west to the museum's Acton depot between Monday 14th and Thursday 17th April for a behind the scenes family tour of the warehouses which are only occasionally open to the public.

About London Transport Museum

After a two-year, £22 million refurbishment the London Transport Museum reopened on 22 November 2007 revealing more exhibition space than before. The museum travels back through the 200-year history of public transport, arranged according to several themes: London Transport's famous design heritage, the poster collection, public transport during both World Wars and plans for the capital's development in the twenty-first century.
