Gergely Madaras conducts a new staging of Mozart's two-act opera about a prince who uses a magical instrument to rescue a princess. Directed by Complicite's artistic director Simon McBurney who brings a new interpretation - which uses projections and makes the orchestra a visible part of the action - to the much-loved Magic Flute on the London Coliseum stage. Starring popular young tenor Ben Johnson, recently lauded for his Alfredo in the Olivier Award-nominated La traviata, as Tamino.
