European Outdoor Film Tour
THIS EVENT ENDED ON THE 28TH NOVEMBER 2012
Nearby

The European Outdoor Film Tour comes to the UK for the first time this November and for one night only it comes to the Royal Geographical Society, showing 8 adventure sports films in 2 hours. The line-up features the world's elite, extreme sports athletes like king of the slackline Sketchy Andy, mountain-biker Darren Berrecloth, and whitewater master Ben Marr. 'A New Perspective' follows climbers David Lama and Conrad Anker as they attempt a free climb of the Eternal Flame route in the Karakoram mountain range in Pakistan, one of the most notoriously challenging routes in the climbing world. The programme also includes an Arctic expedition - pull-out quote: "None of us have felt our feet in weeks" - Red Bull MTBers on a mission to redefine Big Mountain freeriding, whitewater magic, Alaskan snowboarding, wingsuit proximity flying and slack-lining - with no safety line. If you're not up for flinging yourself off a mountain, this is as close as you'll want to get.
