Every Good Boy Deserves FavourEvery Good Boy Deserves Favour returns to the National Theatre following a successful run this time last year. Tom Stoppard and Andre Previn's play about a Soviet dissident forced to share a cell with a madman who believes he has an orchestra under his control has rarely been staged. This is because it requires a full orchestra to perform a detailed score alongside the small cast, making this as much a piece of classical music as a drama. It was originally created for the Queen's Silver Jubilee - in a production that featured Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart - and now returns to the Olivier directed by Punchdrunk's Felix Barrett.
