It's the moment most women of the household dread: the return of the football season with the annual FA Community Shield at Wembley. This year champions Manchester United face FA Cup winners Chelsea in a repeat of the 2007 curtain-raiser, where Sir Alex Ferguson's side won on penalties after a 1-1 draw. United won again last year, edging out Portsmouth in yet another shoot-out after a dour stalemate over the 120 minutes on the pitch. For most, the best thing about the Community Shield is the fact it gives fans a chance to see how their teams are shaping up ahead of the Premiership kick-off one week later. In this case, we'll see just how United are adapting to life without talismanic forwards Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez and whether or not new Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti is Hiddink or Scolari mark II.
