Martin Scorcese's 3 and a half hour epic George Harrison: Living in the Material World is Damien Hirst's choice for Film on Sunday: Artist's Choice , taking place at the White Cube in Bermondsey. Using home movie clips, private letters and previously unseen footage, this BAFTA-nominated classic tells the story of the fourth Beatle, focusing on his frustrations with burgeoning fame, the development of his spirituality and his untimely death in 2001. With contributions from Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono, Tom Petty and Eric Clapton, Scorcese helps to shed light on the man he describes as "trying to find a way to simplicity". You do not need to reserve a seat to this screening but places our limited so arrive early to avoid disappointment.
