FrightFestFrightFest puts the horror into this August bank holiday weekend with five days of screenings at Cineworld Leicester Square and Prince Charles Cinema. The home of horror, the festival has been running for 17 years and has rapidly grown in popularity. Audiences can expect to be scared witless with a devilishly delightful line-up of premieres, previews and special screenings of fantasy and horror films. Zombie films, cinematic apocalyptic visions of the future and revenge thrillers fill the festival with the finest films of this genre. This year's line-up includes Cult of Chucky, Death Note, Attack of the Adult Babies and Return of the Living Dead III.

About Prince Charles Cinema

Having achieved almost cult status, this reasonably-priced, independent cinema in the heart of Leicester Square is not quite the true hidden gem it once was. The moment Quentin Tarantino admitted that his film Kill Bill was designed for the Prince Charles (pointing out that it was everything a cheap movie theatre should be) the cinema lost its obscurity, Having said that it's still the last thing you'd expect to find bang in the middle of the The West End, a stone's throw from the cheesy overpriced multiplexes.
