If you happen to own a pair of absorbent underwear, get yourself down to The Lido Café for ninety minutes of South London shockers this Halloween. The Full Moon Halloween Stories will involve crafty rats, saucy mermaids, and the dead boxer of Denmark Hill, plus plenty of other stories, performances, music and surprises to keep you on the edge of your seat. There will also be the chance to play a few hands of the card game cemetary canasta and feast on a small pumpkin themed menu. Why they request you wear absorbent underwear remains a mystery?.
About The Lido Cafe
Right by the lido in Brockwell Park this cafe has a stunning outdoor terrace and great facilities. It's entirely civilised and, as the restaurant is licensed for alcohol, you can enjoy a glass of white wine with your salmon salad. Considering this is a prime spot with plenty of outdoor tables over looking the lake, it's very reasonably priced too. More about The Lido Cafe
