THIS EVENT ENDED ON THE 13TH JULY 2014
Billed as the 'ultimate World Cup pop up', Globe House on Bermondsey Street offers two different viewing experiences under one roof. Upstairs is the Home Bar, an informal option that has no reservations or cover charge. A 30-foot long bar will serve beers from every country in the tournament as well as Jose Cuervo and blood orange slushies. The games will be screened on a giant screen and a foosball table is on hand for half-time entertainment. Downstairs meanwhile is the Away Bar, which will take reservations for larger groups. Legendary bartender Jim Wrigley, of Made In The Shade, will serve up themed cocktails and girls in football strips will provide table service. Stone baked pizzas from local pizzeria, Pizza Lupa, will be available at both bars for £10.
