Greenwich International Early Music Festival and ExhibitionJointly promoted by The Early Music Shop, the Greenwich Foundation and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance the Greenwich International Early Music Festival and Exhibition is the world's largest early music fair. This annual fixture showcases some of the biggest names on the early music scene at the Old Royal Naval College. Visitors can enjoy an exhibition of music shops, instruments and their makers as well as a programme packed with spectacular concerts, masterclasses, instrument demonstrations and free events. Trinity Laban's gifted ensembles including their Early Music Vocal Ensemble and Junior Trinity students typically take part. About Old Royal Naval College

The Old Royal Naval College was built on the site of the Tudor Palace in Greenwich in which Henry VIII and Elizabeth I were born. William and Mary commissioned Sir Christopher Wren to design the present buildings in 1695 to house naval pensioners, and these became the Royal Naval College in 1873.
