Adapted from a picture book by Eileen Browne, Handa's Hen is a colourful African adventure for younger children. Aimed at 2-5 year olds, Handa's Hen tells the Kenya-set story of Handa's journeywith her friend Akeyo. While they're on the hunt for Grandma's black hen Mondi, they find two butterflies around the hen house, three stripy mice under the grain store, four little lizards behind the pots, but no sign of Mondi. This show staged by the acclaimed Little Angel puppet theatre company, is a follow-up to Handa's Surprise and features 55 stunning puppets, all newly created by hand especially for this production.
Ages 2-5
