Written by one of the UK's most famous playwrights, Noėl Coward, Hay Fever has been described as one of the greatest plays of the twentieth century. Originally produced in 1924, Hay Fever sees four guests arrive at a country house by the Thames expecting a civilised weekend of polite conversation and illicit love affairs. But famous actress Judith Bliss, her novelist husband and their two grown-up children are no ordinary hosts and, as confusion mounts, their unwitting guests are desperate to flee. Directed by Stephen Unwin, Hay Fever stars Olivier award-winning actress and comedienne Celia Imrie in the role of Judith Bliss from 23 September to 9 October, with Nichola McAuliffe joining the ensemble cast at the Rose Theatre in Kingston from Monday 11 October. Highly recommended - this is Coward at his finest.About Rose Theatre Kingston
