Horniman Museum Santa's GrottoVisit Santa in his magical Grotto in the conservatory at the Horniman Museum on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 29th November to 15th December 2013. The Horniman Museum is one of London's best attractions for children - it jointly won the Telegraph + Kids in Museums Family Friendly Museum Award for 2013 - and its Grotto is a wonderful way for children to meet Santa. Each child will receive a special Christmas gift to take home for the £8 ticket price. Booking is done in 20 minutes timeslots between 11am and 4pm with a break at lunchtime. On the weeked of 7th and 8th December the annual Horniman Christmas Fair adds to the festive feel with a Christmas market, festive food, mulled wine, and carol singing on the Bandstand. Advance booking for Santa's Grotto is essential.

About Horniman Museum

Victorian tea trader Frederick John Horniman collected specimens and artefacts from his travels around the world in the 1860's. His personal collection became the foundation of the Horniman Museum, which is now housed in a Charles Harrison Townsend-designed building. Horniman's original collection included natural history specimens, cultural artefacts and musical instruments. More about Horniman Museum
