Highly acclaimed Bristol-based theatre company Travelling Light have a play for all seasons in How Cold My Toes which charts the changing weather during the course of a year. Sally Cookson directs this seasonal dance-musical which builds on the success Travelling Light enjoyed with Shadow Play. But with this new production a collaboration with BBoying dance company Champloo adds a new twist and some funky street dance moves. The show, told in an engaging style, packs a whole year's climate cycle into one hour, taking you on a journey from winter to summer, through spring and autumn, from the blistering sunshine to the ice cold chill. Travelling Light have a signature style that appeals to the very young and children aged two to seven - and their families - will enjoy the animated storytelling, music, movement and clever use of props. Age 2-7
About The Albany
Originally established in 1894 as the Deptford Fund, The Albany has a long history of entertaining within the Deptford community. But it was in the early 1970s that the theatre in its current guise really got going when a fringe theatre group set up home here under the direction of Paul Curno. More about The Albany
