I Wish I Was LonelyThis new show from theatre makers Hannah Jane Walker and Chris Thorpe requests that audiences do the ultimate cardinal sin in theatre: leave their phones on. Staged at the Battersea Arts Centre, I Wish I Was Lonely explores the nation's obsession with mobile phones. Through stories, poems and conversations, it questions whether our ability to be contacted all the time is in fact destroying our communication skills and killing who we are.

About Battersea Arts Centre (BAC)

Carrying many of London's best fringe productions, the Battersea Arts Centre is one of the best off-West End theatres and art venues in the capital. A Grade II-listed building which was the former town hall, the BAC is now one of the country's biggest arts centres, housing studios and gallery space as well as a theatre.
