Ice Cream FestivalTo make the most of the dwindling summer days, King's Cross will be celebrating one of the nation's favourite hot weather treats: ice cream. Taking place at the Granary Building, the two-day Ice Cream Festival will showcase the best ice creams available in London and the South East. The festival will be a hands-on affair with the chance to milk a cow in the petting farm, assist making ice cream using the latest nitrogen technologies, or simply sample some of the finished product. Ice cream to taste will be available courtesy of Morelli's of Harrods, Gelatorino of Covent Garden and Shepherds of Hertfordshire. The festival will also take a look at the history of ice cream and bring back the infamous penny lick.
