The innovative Wimbledon Polka Children's Theatre, now in its 30th year, brings back the Roald Dahl classic, James and the Giant Peach - last seen here in 2004 - for its Christmas run. A delight for fans of Dahl, the story starts with a single peach which starts to grow on a long-dead tree outside the house that James Trotter shares with his two awful aunts. It grows, and it grows, and it grows... James doesn't know it yet, but this fantastic fruit is set to provide him with a new set of exciting insect friends and a possible escape route to the new life he longs for. This magical tale is brought to you by director Roman Stefanski who staged this production to much acclaim five years ago. Classic kids entertainment for the Christmas period.
