JamiroquaiCausing much excitement among fans across the globe, funk and acid jazz outfit, Jamiroquai is back. The group, fronted by the man with many silly hats, lead singer Jay Kay, first came to our attention in the 1990s with debut hit album Emergency on Planet Earth. Hits like the excellent Virtual Insanity, Cosmic Girl and Love Foolosophy made the band a household name. Now they're back with new album Automation and this intimate, sold out headline show at the Roundhouse is the first chance fans will have to hear them play live in London in six years. Officially labelled "cool again" by none other than NME, the band, "derided for years", is finally getting the attention it deserves.

 

About Roundhouse

It's great to see this fabulous arts venue re-open its doors after a stunning refurbishment. Boasting a colourful history, the Roundhouse initially started life as an engine shed. It was later transformed into a bonded warehouse for Gilbey's Gin before Arnold Wesker the playwright came along in 1964 and established Centre 42 here, insisting it became one of the most cutting-edge performing arts venue in the country.
