This exhibition investigates the theme of journeys through contemporary art created by local young people and artists from around the world. A group show of works in photography, installation, paintings and other disciplines, which explores the theme of journeys, and is inspired by the explorer Sir Richard Burton. Journeys is part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad programme and features a mix of local young people and professional artists, including Piyali Ghosh, displaying their works.About Orleans House Gallery
Orleans House Gallery is sited in a picturesque woodland garden by the Thames at Twickenham. The gallery hosts a lively programme of temporary exhibitions while the adjacent Baroque Octagon Room (c1720) by James Gibbs - one of the most influential church architects in the age of Queen Anne - is also worth seeing.
