Having established itself in the 90s in Nottingham and earning the reputation for being "the best comedy club in the country" (Johnny Vegas), Just the Tonic now has a permanent London home at the Leicester Square Theatre. Every Saturday night, JTT provides high-quality stand-up shows in the West End, "boasting some of the most consistently interesting bills in the country" (The Times). Since opening its doors in the capital, the club has welcomed the likes of Noel Fielding, Dave Gorman, Phil Kay, Lee Mack and Richard Herring - and a glance over its listings on www.justthetonic.com shows it has no signs of letting up. The venue has two bars in the performance room selling beer at pub prices, while the seating is as comfortable as most cinemas. It really is just the tonic.

About Leicester Square Theatre

In 2002 this compact, 350 seater opened with Taboo, Boy George's musical trawl through Thatcher's 80s and his own turbulent career, a production that ran for well over a year. The Leicester Square Theatre seems to have succeeded in carving out a niche for itself amongst the many grand Edwardian playhouses and cavernous auditoriums of London's Theatreland.
