The first ever Kew Music Festival takes place this June with standout performances from world famous violinist Nicola Benedetti and actress Juliet Stevenson. The nine-day classical festival takes place in a series of historic venues (including Kew Palace) and celebrates the best of the area's rich cultural talent with concerts by local groups such as the award-winning Kew Wind Orchestra and Kew Sinfonia. Benedetti's exclusive appearance, which takes place in a private residence on Kew Green, features cello virtuoso Leonard Elschenbroich and Ukranian pianist Alexei Grynyuk. Stevenson, meanwhile, will appear alongside actor Alex Jennings and pianist Lucy Parham in their critically acclaimed performance of 'Nocturne' about the romantic life of Chopin.
