Kim Noble Will Die

Kim Noble, the tall one with the ginger beard from the Perrier Award-winning double act Noble and Silver, returns to the Soho Theatre for a second run of his intriguing solo multimedia show Kim Noble Must Die. Praised for "mixing the confessionalism of Tracey Emin and the subversion of Chris Morris" (Evening Standard), Noble and his comedy partner are renowned for their absurd and, on occasion, rather sick sketches to the extent that some people think there are grounds to get the two sectioned. In his solo show, which blew critics away at the Edinburgh Fringe this summer, the Bafta-nominated oddball aims to help get you through life while laying bare his own plans for departing this world. Using a mixture of traditional stand-up, pre-recorded video and avant-garde theatre, Noble will have you crying with laughter at what The Observer describes as "indescribable, radical and sublime". This is disturbing, horrifying, unwatchable and inspiring in equal measures. Some might well feel the need to leave; others will be caught in a trance. "A profound piece of work," says Time Out, and "the most remarkable cutting-edge show this year," chips in The Times.
