Showcasing the best in new queer film and video, the BFI London Lesbian & Gay Festival returns for its 27th year. The third largest film festival in the UK, the LLGFF festival sees hundreds of filmmakers, cast, crew and more than 250,000 visitors flock to the city. This year's programme is the festival's biggest to date and will screen hundreds of film and host an array of parties and events. Highlights of the festival include the opening gala screening of 'I Am Divine', footage of an outrageous and larger than life drag queen; the closing night's showing of 'Margarita', a look into the complicated world of a lesbian nanny's love life; and 'Intersexion', a gripping documentary that follows the lives of people born with no fixed gender. Man of the moment and gay icon David Bowie is also given a special screening and party night on the same day as the launch of David Bowie Is at the V&A Museum.
