Central London's only classical club night, Limelight, returns to the 100 Club with a performance by the violinist tyro Jack Liebeck. Described by The Guardian as "one of today's finest young violinists", RAM graduate Liebeck has already performed with some of the best orchestras in the world, including the Philharmonia, Moscow State Symphony, Nieuw Sinfonietta Amsterdam and London Philharmonic. He will be supported by the International Baroque Players, an award-winning 20-strong contingent of musicians from nine different countries. Limelight, which takes place on monthly Tuesdays at the legendary Oxford Street venue, aims to broaden the appeal of classical music by presenting it in a relaxed, intimate, lively environment - that's to say a rock'n'roll setting as opposed to a formal concert hall.
