Nearby

A month long celebration of the guitar takes place at three venues across London. Kings Place hosts the first week, with masterclasses from Nigel North and David Russell plus a panel discussion with Guy Traviss. Next up is Bolivar Hall for one night of music from Carles Pons and Orlando Dibelo, plus Jose Ruiz del Puerto. And the finale takes place at the Southbank Centre on the 25th November, with a little help from Maria Camahort & Friends. About Kings Place

Just 150 metres from King's Cross and St Pancras stations and with a waterside setting, the Dixon-Jones designed Kings Place combines the offices of The Guardian newspaper with a concert hall and two art galleries. As you'd expect from the architects behind the recent improvements to the Royal Opera House and National Portrait Gallery it's a well designed complex of curvaceous surfaces and appealing public spaces.
