Equestrianism's all-round competition comes to Greenwich Park with the four-day Eventing programme from Saturday 28 July until Tuesday 31 July. Much like the Swimming's individual medley or Athletics' decathlon, Eventing is Equestrian's test of all-round versatility and skill. Blending dressage, cross-country riding and jumping, Eventing tests every element of horsemanship and promises to light up Greenwich Park with some spectacular horseback action. Days one and two are taken up with Dressage, Day 3 features the Cross-Country test around the beautiful Greenwich Park (equipped with 45 jumps), and Day 4 concludes the competition with the Show Jumping event in front of the ornate colonnades of the Old Royal Naval Hospital. All three Equestrian disciplines, incidentally, feature both Individual and Team events - while Equestrian is the only Olympic sport in which men and women compete against each other on equal terms.About London Olympics: Greenwich Park
