London Symphony Orchestra: ScriabinThe London Symphony Orchestra is conducted by Valery Gergiev as they play Scriabin's Symphony No 1, a tribute to the power of art, and Symphony No 4, 'The Poem Of Ecstasy'. Between the two works by Scriabin is Liszt's Piano Concerto No 2. Russian pianist Denis Matsuev, internationally acclaimed for his performances of works by Sergei Rachmaninoff, plays with the London Symphony Orchestra and Chorus at this Sunday evening concert.
