Organised in association with Skatefresh, Hyde Park's resident rollerblading school, this free Wednesday night London Skate kicks off in Hyde Park (starting at the bandstand to the eastern end of Serpentine Road) and takes in all the major sights of London and the West End. It's very similar to the Friday Night Skate but run by a different bunch. The Friday Skate is a tad faster so if you've never skated in convoy before, London Skate is the event for you. Like all mass skating events, this event is not recommended for absolute beginners, but if you are a novice lessons are available at the bandstand in Hyde Park once the skate has set off... from Skatefresh.
