Merrily We Roll AlongThe Menier Chocolate Factory's highly acclaimed production of Merrily We Roll Along directed by Maria Friedman transfers to the West End on 23rd April 2013 for a 12-week run. Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's musical transfers to the Harold Pinter Theatre with original cast members including Mark Umbers, Olivier award winner Jenna Russell who plays Mary Flynn, and Damian Humbley, as well as Josefina Gabrielle and Clare Foster. Featuring some of Sondheim's best song, this musical - based on the 1934 play of the same name by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart - is about the career of the fictitious Broadway composer and Hollywood producer, Franklin Shepard. Set over three decades, it starts in 1980 and travels backwards in time. "A show that gets better with every viewing" says The Guardian. Book tickets for Merrily We Roll Along.

About Harold Pinter Theatre

The Harold Pinter Theatre's 1881 interior is one of the oldest in London and one of the most charming, in spite of the damage wrought by an ill-considered restoration in 1954. The Renaissance-style auditorium, with its wooden panels, and gold ceiling and wallpaper, still retains many original features, while the unpretentious exterior is the most attractive and unspoilt among London's smaller theatres.
