Mexico Children's DayOn 30th April each year, the children of Mexico are honoured with a day of games, music, food and no school lessons. The tradition is part of the global Children's Day which sees countries all across the world celebrate the protection of children and prevent them from working long hours in dangerous circumstances. In order to mark Mexico Children's Day, the V&A Museum of Childhood will host a weekend of family activities and fun. There will be the chance to make a pińata, paint a balero and get your face painted Mexican style.

About V & A Museum of Childhood

Collections showcase all aspects of childhood, from games throughout the ages to a historical look at cots, prams and feeding bottles (including a 19th century ceramic bottle).
