Midnight Apothecary Bonfire Night SpecialHaving been named by Elle and The Daily Telegraph as the number one Bonfire Night event in London last year, the Midnight Apothecary's Bonfire Night Special is bound to be another sure-fire hit (no pun intended).
Set in The Brunel Museum's beautiful rooftop garden, the night will involve themed cocktails, a roaring fire pit and sparklers. The Midnight Apothecary is a pop-up summer bar created by volunteer gardener Lottie Muir. After transforming the scrubby wasteland above Brunel's Thames Tunnels - part of Brunel Museum - into a beautiful edible garden, she mastered the art of creating tempting cocktails using the ingredients from her shrubs. Word soon spread and it became a weekly occasion where Lottie would serve cocktails such as honey and basil daiquiris, whisky mint juleps and maple martinis.

About Brunel Museum

Within the original engine house in Tunnel Road, SE16, this permanent exhibition commemorates the world's first subaqueous tunnel built by Sir Marc Isambard Brunel assisted by his son Isambard Kingdom Brunel. As well as commemorating Brunel's first project - the first metro, part of which is still in use as part of the East London Line today - and his last: the first modern ocean liner the Brunel Museum is also an ancient monument and listed building.
