Using clothing, photography, film, artworks, television programmes and more, this exhibition is an exploration of the history and transformation of childhood in Britain between the 1948 and 2012 London Olympic Games. Aspects such as poverty and politics will also be considered to examine the themes of children being the centre of family life, technology and children's lives being more structured.

About V & A Museum of Childhood

Collections showcase all aspects of childhood, from games throughout the ages to a historical look at cots, prams and feeding bottles (including a 19th century ceramic bottle).
