The Museum of London is holding a week of free family events on a monstrous theme during the October half-term. Monsters At The Museum of London events are aimed at a number of different age groups and include the chance to make monster-themed pottery, to experience interactive storytelling sessions and to create giant monsters as unique and lively as London itself. Museum experts have searched the galleries to find the best and scariest London monster stories. There is a similar programme of monster events taking place the sister museum, the Museum of London Docklands, including the chance to learn about the phantom bear that lives in the Tower of London and to learn about some of the sea monsters that London sailors faced during life on the ocean. Events take place daily but times vary.
