This fireworks extravaganza at Morden Park is the second of two Guy Fawkes events taking place in Merton this year, with the first happening a day earlier on Bonfire Night at Wimbledon Park. At both venues there are two shows, one for children and a second for adults. A jaunt around the stalls and fairground rides will warm you up and keep the kids interested before the explosive grand finale.
TIMINGS:
- 5.15pm - Gates open.
- 6.30pm - First bonfire lit.
- 6.45pm - First fireworks display to a Disney theme. This display is more suitable for young children.
- 8.15pm - Second bonfire lit.
- 8.30pm - Second fireworks display. The 'Best of British'
- Fairground, stalls and refreshments open until 10.00pm.

Morden Park is a large green space in Merton surrounding the 18th century (and now newly restored) Morden Park House. Facilities in the park include a pitch and putt golf course, a cricket pitch, a playground, an outdoor gym, a summer paddling pool and a swimming pool. More about Morden Park
