Museums at NightAround 70 London venues typically take part in this after-hours event which opens up our landmark museums for a weekend of special, exclusive viewings and events. If you think the idea of spending the night in a dusty old museum sounds a bit dull then Museums at Night will make you think again and, taking place over Halloween weekend in 2016, it's the perfect opportunity for a spooky after-hours visit. Venues taking part this year include the Tower of London, Bank of England Museum, National Gallery, Houses of Parliament, Somerset House, Charles Dickens Museum and Dulwich Library, where there will a Night of the Museum Halloween party. The Museum of London, meanwhile, will pay homage to London's club culture and nightlife The Night Museum.
