Scrabble gets serious at the Cavendish Conference Centre in November as the National Scrabble Championship Final brings together the those with the very best lexical dexterity. The Championship Final has been held at the Cavendish every year since the venue opened and the competition is growing in prestige with every year - news coverage has begun to appear in The Times, The Telegraph and even on television news. This will be the final of a series of regional stage competitions, comprising players from all over the country. Moves are relayed on a 6ft sq board accompanied by expert commentary for the audience.
