As part of the London 2012 Festival, National Theatre will be offering a summer programme of events with their Inside Out series. Performances that would usually take place inside on the stage will be taken outside onto riverside squares and terraces. Events include non zero one's new production you'll see [me sailing in antarctica] which, come rain or shine, seats the audience on a large outdoor table and engages them in a highly interactive performance. There will also be a pop-up workshop on the Waterloo Terrace offering classes in puppetry, prop-making and performance, and a pop-up riverfront cafť-bar, Propstore which has been created from stage sets and decorated with props.†

About National Theatre

Each year the three superb venues in the National Theatre put on a significant proportion of the world's best productions. From intimate character studies in the Cottesloe (currently closed for refurbishment), to grand spectacles in the Olivier, the National Theatre is the spiritual centre of the British theatrical tradition.
