Bring in the New Year with a bit of blues and some hearty soul food at Charlotte Street Blues, the largest Blues Bar in London. To top off the sixth month anniversary since its launch back in June, the sleek Fitzrovia venue is putting on some all-night celebrations of blistering blues with The Barker Band (laidback blues, country, rock and bluegrass), Sam Hare & Soul Junction + Friends (Hammond-drenched blues and soul) and Jerimiah Marques & The Blue Aces (Chicago blues, Jamaican ska, rocksteady and reggae). Down in the basement to help revellers see in the new year and boogie into the early hours are DJs Izzy Ducasse, Mass, Barry and Liam Large, playing the best in blues, soul and funk until 5am. If you want to welcome in 2010 with a Charlotte Mint Julep (free with entry fee) in your hand and some deep American South soul food in your belly (two courses for an extra ?20) as you dance away to the finest blues the capital has to offer, then Charlotte Street Blues is the place for you this 31st December.About Charlotte Street Blues
