Oktoberfest at German GymnasiumPerhaps London's most suitable location to celebrate Oktoberfest, the German Gymnasium is teaming up with Rothaus Brewery from the Black Forest to host their own festival party. With long wooden tables and benches out on the terrace, guests will be able to enjoy several beers on tap as well as a selection of traditional barreled beer supplied by Black Forest, which are naturally unpasteurised. Build up a thirst with a menu of German dishes, including a sausage trio - schinkenknacker, bratwurst and currywurst - mini pork knuckles and an Oktoberfest cold cut platter. Waiters and waitresses will be dressed in traditional lederhosen and dirndl while entertainment comes in the form of an oompah band.

About German Gymnasium

In November 2015 the historic German Gymnasium in King's Cross, the first purpose-built gymnasium of its type in England, became a restaurant with a large al fresco terrace, patisserie counter and a clock which chimes at 4pm daily, signalling the beginning of the German tradition of Kaffee and Kuchen.
