The acclaimed National Theatre production of One Man, Two Guvnors, Richard Bean's adaptation of Carlo Goldoni's classic Italian comedy, The Servant Of Two Masters, returns to London as the comedy, a mix of satire, songs, slapstick and glittering one-liners, tours nationwide. Gavin Spokes who played Francis Henshall in the West End production of One Man, Two Guvnors and more recently played Parsons in the Almeida/Headlong production of 1984 returns in the lead role. Francis, a blundering (and famished) minder, bites off more than he can chew when he takes on two clients and then struggles to keep their paths from crossing. Slapstick hilarity and even a little romance ensue in this Brighton-based farce directed by Nicholas Hytner. There's support from Shaun Williamson (Barry from Eastenders) as Charlie Clench, Emma Barton (Honey in Eastenders) as Dolly, and Jasmyn Banks (Alice in Eastenders) as Pauline Clench.
