Hard To Be Soft: A Belfast PrayerOona Doherty's dance piece looks behind the masks of violence and machismo to the inner lives of Belfast's hard men and strong women. Part of Dance Umbrella 2019, Hard To Be Soft uses movement as a medium for understanding and a catalyst for social change. Everyday stories are woven into a tapestry of mesmerising movement and religious iconography, with music by DJ David Holmes.
