Patrick Coyle: Only ReferenceThis poetry exhibition, which forms part of the Southbank Centre's literature season, sees Patrick Coyle present material from his ongoing project, Only Reference. The title is a reversal of the term used throughout a great expanse of the Saison Poetry Library's collection, and refers to Coyle's production of an expanded reference manual for the library. Known for using performance, text and sculpture to explore both personal and hidden narratives, this exhibition sees Coyle display writing and objects that come as a result of extensive research conducted in the Rare Books section of the library.

About Southbank Centre

London's hub of cultural arts, The Southbank Centre announced in March 2013 that it's set for a £100 million revamp that will see the 1960s design finally move into the 21st century with a proposal that includes a floating glass pavilion, two more roof gardens, a space for riverside arts and a large pedestrian area.
